What are cookies

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, unblu) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g. like advertising, interactive content and analytics). The parties that set these third party cookies can recognise your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.

Why do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We use first party and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Websites to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies. Other cookies also enable us and the third parties we work with to track and target the interests of our users (like you) to enhance the experience on our Websites and improve the functionality of the services we provide to you. We also use cookies to tailor content and information that we may send or display to you and otherwise personalize your experience while interacting with our Websites. Third parties serve cookies through our Websites for advertising, analytics and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.

The specific types of cookies served through our Websites and the purposes they perform are described in the following sections.

Controlling cookies

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, since it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also stop you from saving customized settings like login information.

Third-party cookies are used to make our advertising messages more relevant to you and your interests. Therefore, we simply provide you an option for you to initially opt-out of this category of cookie before accepting. If you have already accepted but have since changed your mind and would like to opt-out of this category of cookie, you may head to http://optout.networkadvertising.org where you may choose to opt-out of many third party services.
