unblu listed in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Business Ecosystems, 2017

unblu, a leading provider of collaborative engagement solutions for the world’s leading banks and financial institutions, announced that it was identified as a sample vendor in the July 2017 Gartner "Hype Cycle for Business Ecosystems, 2017" report. unblu was named in the “Collaborative Customer Interface” (CCI) category.

Technology is changing the way organizations are able to interact with customers and prospects. While both of them now have access to a wealth of digital resources, interactions in online channels are often abandoned and require guidance or advice to result in a differentiating and unique user experience. Collaborative customer interfaces enable a customer-service representative and a customer to simultaneously browse and share a live version of the same business application.

"Shiny object syndrome and complacency have stalled the advance of this technology"

According to Gartner, “shiny object syndrome and complacency have stalled the advance of this technology”. Using collaborative customer interfaces, however, allows industries such as financial services, online retail, and travel to offer highly personalized customer experiences, in which customers will be able to participate in resolving their issues. The conversion of web capabilities to smartphones and tablets will accelerate adoption of the technology.

In this regard, Luc Haldimann, CEO of unblu, asserts that CCI technology is proven to help organizations to rationalize their physical presence and offers a high level of customer service through centralized, digital service centers.

“We are excited to be recognized as a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Business Ecosystem, 2017 and more importantly we agree with Gartner on the relevancy of CCI technology for today’s businesses. We have more than 100 banks already using our technology and for those banks, it has become an integral part of their client interaction strategies. Over the course of the last year, we have released a new version of our customer engagement suite that allows offering a seamless and omnichannel collaborative experience across devices. We believe our inclusion by Gartner is due to our continuous efforts in this space ", concluded Luc Haldimann.
