Unblu achieves SOC 2 Type 2 recertification with expanded scope to Swiss Sovereign Cloud

The recertification provides Unblu customers with added assurance that the platform upholds the highest standards of security and compliance within the industry.

Unblu is pleased to announce the successful recertification of its SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, now with an extended scope that includes the Swiss Sovereign Cloud

Expanding our SOC 2 Type 2 certification to include the Swiss Sovereign Cloud is a major step forward in our continued focus on delivering secure and compliant solutions to our clients in Europe and worldwide

This significant achievement builds upon the company’s initial SOC 2 Type 2 compliance for the Google Cloud platform (GCP) achieved in 2023, and further reinforces Unblu’s commitment to delivering secure, private, and independent cloud services.

The SOC 2 Type 2 audit, conducted by leading financial services auditing firm BDO, rigorously examines the operational effectiveness of a cloud-based service organization’s information security controls over a defined period. The report generated by the audit outlines how well a company’s systems and controls perform according to the Trust Service Criteria (TSC).

This recertification extends the audit’s scope beyond the GCP to include the Swiss Sovereign Cloud, ensuring that Unblu continues to meet the highest standards of security and privacy.

“Expanding our SOC 2 Type 2 certification to include the Swiss Sovereign Cloud is a major step forward in our continued focus on delivering secure and compliant solutions to our clients in Europe and worldwide,” said Jens Rabe, Co-CEO of Unblu. This expanded certification not only ensures that Unblu adheres to the highest standards for cloud security, but also highlights the company’s strategic efforts to offer an internationally compliant, secure, and future-proof platform to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
